"The sky's the limit." - ?
Unfortunately for me, I was sick for a good deal of the time I was in Seattle. I did not get to do some of the things I had planned on (like walking around the farmer's market) - but thankfully I did make it downtown to the Space Needle one day. The view was spectacular, of course. I wish it spun around though - I think that would have been much more enjoyable!

An art installation near the Space Needle. |

So all around the Space Needle there are directional points such as the one above. So I took a picture of each point and then turned around and took a picture of the view from that direction...here we go! |

This "S" is upside down! You would think someone would have fixed that by now... |

There is a faded "N" here, so it is actually NW |

Random pretty view where you can tell how many trees there are within the city - the colors were beautiful! |
Mount St. Helens, no big deal! |
I like the giant cargo ships. |
Of course the McDonalds below the needle has to advertise on the roof so when you are trying to take in breathtaking views you are really thinking, "Cheeeeeezeburger. Nom. Nom! NOM!" |
Fountain below the needle - it was a very nice day outside - so lots of people were hanging around down there. |
At the Space Needle they have this amazing display where it shows images from every 20 minutes over a 24 hour time period - so since I could not get any night time pics, I just stole one of theirs for you. |
Okay okay, I stole two of them. =) |
Reppin' Dave in his city! Which ironically, I did not think about until just now. What a tourist... |
I really feel like this should be a post card. If I sent you a post card from Seattle, I am sorry the picture on there was not as awesome as this one is! |
Going up in the Space Needle is just under $20. If you like touristy and sight seeing type things, I would recommend it. The views are very nice for sure. There are lots of factoid type things posted around the inside part of the Needle, along with a little cafe where you can have lunch over looking the city views. I definitely would like to go up at night time if I am ever in the Emerald City again!
