The first night we were in San Mateo, Beth took us to watch the sunset in Half Moon Bay. We were right on the shore line and it was incredible.

Elijah I am having tons of fun - but looking at this reminded me how nice it was to have you along. I love and miss you tremendously!

*PS...Sorry so much for not updating in so long. I was without solid internet for a little awhile and it just got me into a bad habit of not updating often enough. I will try and do better!

.the trip.

after what could easily be called the hardest year of my life - i found myself a little lost. in hopes of finding my way again i decided to take some time for myself. i will be making my way across the country in my car and sleeping on couches along the way. my tentative plan is to begin by heading west and up the coast. then i will hit the rockies on my way south. weather permitting i will continue up the east coast and then make my way back home to indiana. i have no idea how long i will be gone or where all i will go - and that is the beauty of the entire thing.
