Madame Tussauds's Hollywood Wax Museum

While we were in LA, Elijah and I went up to Hollywood.  Initially we were just going to walk around the star walk, check out the Chinese theatre, etc... we heard the wax museum was not worth the entry price ($25 for non students) from some other CouchSurfers staying at the same place we were.  However, while we were walking by some employee of the museum said that the next 15 people could get in for only $10 with the secret code word.  Elijah was kind enough to buy me a ticket and in we went.  In the end I am really glad we did - it kept us entertained for well over an hour and was really fun.  We basically just acted like idiots the entire time.  You know, standard for us. =) 

I took a LOT of pictures.  I am just going to put some of my favorites up here - eventually all of them will make it to Facebook.  Here goes!

I have so many pictures with cardboard R. Patz that I figured I may as well get this one, too.  Mostly for you Brittany Franklin. =) (Please note the ridiculousness of him being stationed in front of a heart. Sheeeeesh.)

He's my favorite - so I was very excited to run into him here!

They had this station where you could make your own souvenir wax hand - and being the ridiculous tourist I am, I participated!  

The first thing you had to do was submerge your hand in this bucket of ice water.  Shortly after this picture was taken I started saying the "F" word under my breath...A LOT.

As the wax is hardening...

You got to pick a color for your souvenir - I wonder what I chose...
